Upper Playground | New NYC Store

The first Upper Playground store in NYC will be opening today in the East Village. The store is located at 437 East 9th Street, NYC. This new location will have the walls adorned with a permanent art installation from none other than NYC resident, David Choe. As you should remember, Choe has collaborated alot with Upper Playground, and has designed some of the best pieces we've seen this year. This installation only seems befitting for the NYC store.

Upper Playground was founded in 1999 and has become a leader in today’s progressive fine art movement with its innovative apparel line and art gallery, FIFTY24SF. Recognized as a catalyst for the fusion of fashion with art, Upper Playground produces apparel lines bi-annually and features designs from notable local and international artists. Upper Playground apparel is sold nationally and internationally in over 300 boutiques and online. Visit their Site for more information and to check out all the knowings.

Upper Playground also collaborates with emerging and established artists from all over the world including Sam Flores, Herbert Baglione, Jeremy Fish, Alex Pardee, Usugrow, and many more. Collaborations with the artists are typically, but not limited to, apparel lines, skate decks, caps, and art. They provide something for everyone, so you should really check them out and be sure to swing by the new store.
