Decked out in mid-century-modern rosewood and teak, Penguin's first Midwest standalone store'll be the first in the world to offer "Frisque Business" -- a collection that harkens back to Penguin's 1950s beginnings, with further inspiration drawn from the Pink Panther movies and Roman Coppola's CQ (CQ -- but of course). The "eclectic preppy" look starts with three pima cotton polos, chief among them the Earl: solid hued w/ contrast piping around the collar and buttons, it's a remake of Penguin's 1955 debut design, worn by everyone from Bing Crosby to Arnold Palmer -- a man so cool, he overcame having a non-alcoholic drink named after him. Other classics include sweet plaid pants, three-piece suits, fedoras, argyle inflected v-necks, and horizontally striped sweaters that won't make you look any fatter than pie already does.
