Futura Laboratories Spring 07
The new Futura Laboratories Spring 2007 collection is getting into stores and arrived at Sold Out. The first pieces that they got in were the Paisley Hoodie and a nice beanie.
Of course we have already seen paisley hoodies from almost every brand out there, which still does make this one not less nice. Simple and nice accents with the paisley. The quality of the line is also always very good, which also brings along the higher price. The beanie features some of Futura's most known logos embroidered on it. An instant classic!

Mishka Screaming Skull New Era

Over a year in the making... The Screaming Skull New Era Cap by Mishka that we previewed to you actually already during Magic Summer 06 is now finally going to be available. This hat is shipping to stores all over the world right now. Well not this very hat, because they did a very small run of these as a website exclusive. Their Website Exclusive Screaming Skull Cap is printed in a technique called "Bulletproofing". What this means is the fabric is soaked in ink, and then cured creating a "bulletproof" print. On a t-shirt this might be a bad thing, but on a cap with this much detail, the hat becomes bright and vibrant. And although the hat is cotton, the quality, look and feel becomes like leather! Limit is 1 hat per customer. Definitely a cap that stands out and the bulletproofing technique seems to pay off on this very graphic!

Carnegie Mellon University - Sneakerology 101

Although the symbolic educational term 101 has been thrown around liberally in sneaker circles, Pittsburgh Pensylvania's Carnegie Mellon University has legitimized the term with its official sneaker based class, Sneakerology 101. Yes that's right, a university level course dealing with sneaker culture on the whole. Ranging from its roots in the 1970s to its shaping by hip-hop, the internet and basketball among other factors, the course covers the overall impact of sneakers on a worldwide level. The class utilizes Bobbito Garcia's Where'd You Get Those? for reference as well as various sneaker-based websites. Evaluations include a mid-term project pertaining to the design of a sneaker, incorporating elements acquired along the way. Interested parties can sign up for the class' next session set for Spring of 2009.

Levi's x Warhol Spring 07 Collection
Here we present you now the new Levi's x Warhol Spring 2007 Collection. This very special collaboration project between the denim giant and the Warhol Foundation has been going on for several seasons now and presents upscale products in their collection.
The Spring 2007 collection presents some very special pieces and a very sophisticated collection. To a certain degree very dressy, the collection consists of blazers, denim, jackets, shirts, tees and also a small line-up of accessories. They use printing of Warhol imagery on the denim, tees, shirts and even blazers, giving them a very special used look. Sometimes too much imagery makes the line hardly wearable, but overall it's a collection that really presents itself with lots of details and shows that Levi's can do something impressive if they want to!

Staple 10th Anniversary Coach Jacket
You may have already seen quite some t-shirts out of the 10th Anniversary Spring 07 collection of Staple, but what you don't know is, that it is filled with really nice cut & sew pieces as well, that you cannot even imagine so far. There are still some collaborations waiting for you to discover.
Anyways, here is one of the first cut & sew pieces of the first delivery of Spring that is getting into stores right now. They created a really nice Coach Jacket. Usually we are not big fans of coach jackets, because they lack a nice fit, but they did a nice job on this one with some nice details and a subtle branding. It comes in two colorways: black and grey.
It's already available at Essence but look also out for it at other stores around the globe in the coming 2 weeks.
